Adhunik Industries Limited, an Integrated Steel Plant, of the Adhunik Group and one of the major key players among the steel plants and rolling mills in the Durgapur region of West Bengal and is one the few Integrated Steel Plants in the area to have ISO 9001:2008, ISO14001:2004 and OHSAS 18001:2007 Certifications. Manufacturing quality Sponge Iron, Wire Rods and TMT Bars employing the latest State of the Art Technologies including collaborations with Centre De Rechaerche Metallurgiques (CRM )Belgium and employing the Tempcore Process.

It is primarily involved in the manufacture of Sponge Iron, TMT Bars, Rounds and Wire Rods.Manufacturing facilities include:

a) Rolling mill with capacity of 2,22,000 MTPA (COD: 19th September, 2004 for 1,32,000 MTPA and 30th April’ 2011 for 90,000 MTPA) at Raturia Industrial Area, Angadpur, Durgapur, West Bengal.

b) 2 nos of Rotary Kilns of 100 TPD capacity for manufacturing sponge iron at Angadpur, Durgapur, West Bengal.

c) 4 Nos of Furnaces of 6 tons capacity for manufacturing Steel Ingots and Billets of all grades located at Angadpur, Durgapur, West Bengal.


d) Wind Mill of 1.50 MW capacity at Dhule, Maharashtra (COD: 8th February, 2007). The Company has entered into a Power Purchase Agreement with MSEB (Maharashtra State Electricity Board) for a period of 13 years.
